My name is Maarja Purga an I am an estonian singer.

A couple of years ago I had the idea to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ester Mägi - one of the most important estonian female composers- by recording a CD with all of her songs for female voice.

Many of those songs have never been recorded yet and also the sheet music for almost half of her sogs was until now available only in manuscript form.

I started the project in 2022 by looking up all the manuscripts, ordering new sheet music, learning and rehearsing all of these songs and today, almos 2 years later, all the 30 songs are recorded and the new edited sheet music is available to be purchased online!

Only the last part of this project - designing and bringing out the physical CD - must be still done and this is where we need your help!

There are still many costs that need to be covered -desing of the booklet, translations of the text, copyright fees, printing the CD, label fees, promotion fees etc This is where YOU can help us by making a donation! Me and my fellow musicians who participated in this project are so grateful for all the help and I know that together we can bring this amazing CD out!
