Dearest friends and community, on Thursday we learned of the sudden passing of our dear friend C.D. (Christopher) Daniel. C.D .was a bright and beautiful soul who brought love and joy to everyone he met. Those of us who knew him understood that his smile and laughter, his personality and his wisdom had a way of lifting up others without effort. His presence in our lives and the joy he brought to this world will be sorely missed. He left us far too soon. 

We all know the tremendous costs that come with the passing of a loved one and right now C.D.'s family needs our help. While we take time to remember and honor his memory, please find it in your hearts to contribute what you can by helping to ease the financial burden that faces them during their time of grieving. Your donations will go to pay for his funeral and necessary arrangements and are greatly appreciated by his loved ones.

This morning I was able to deliver a check for almost $6900 to C.D.’s sisters. When the remaining funds are able to be withdrawn from the fund I will provide them with another check for the remainder. The funds you all have raised will be used to cover the cost of the service —in full— and any remainder will go towards further expenses associated with the managing of C.D.’s estate.
