On Friday, November 7, 2025, the Sayers Family received news that confirmed their worst fears. Matt was diagnosed with NSGCT non-seminomatous germ cell tumor - stage 3 cancer. This cancer is aggressive and he will be starting inpatient chemotherapy on Monday, November 10th. He has a long, tough road ahead of him.

Due to his cancer treatments, Matt is going to have to take some time off work. We are asking for donations to help offset their loss of income during this time and to help with what will be quite a hefty amount of medical bills. If you aren’t able to donate financially, please keep Matt in your prayers as they navigate this road. Keep Emily, Harper and Vada in your prayers as well.
