Milo's surgery and recovery

Milo has been mine and my wife's companion and copilot for 8 years. He's a smart and caring doggo who loves food and people. Milo became suddenly ill on October 2nd and, upon further investigation, was found to have a slipped disk in his spine, causing weakness in his back legs and making him unable to walk. After talking with specialists, we decided to try surgery since he has a great chance of recovering fully. While we have pet insurance, they only cover so much, so we turn to our friends and family for assistance in these difficult times with recovering from surgery and the rehabilitation required going forward.
