Amora Harris

On Sunday, July 28th 2019 Amora Harris was hit by a speeding driver crossing the street. She sustained injuries of the thoracic spine T2, T10, and T11 which left her paralyzed. She also sustained disruption to her cervical spine C1, C2, C3, C6, and C7. As a result of her accident she was left with a pelvic fracture, femur fracture, a broken wrist, multiple broken fingers as well as knuckles. She’s currently wheelchair bound, she needs extensive rehabilitation. Looking into the future, Amora nor our family have a financial recourse to fall upon. Due to Amora’s intensive care needs we (her parents) have not been able to work. We currently need transportation that is wheel chair accessible. Our current vehicle is dangerous to Amoras injuries. We currently have to lift and tilt Amora into the car. We also must take the spare tire out to fit her wheel chair in the car. Amora is a gift and has saved many others during the auto reform. She has saved other children, bicyclists, and motorcyclist from the new caped system regarding Assigned Claims. Please help us purchase a more safe way to transport Amora.
