Constance Creek Wildlife Refuge's now has taken in 41 raccoons, 9 skunks, 7 fawns, 22 squirrels, 2 chipmunks, 3 rabbits, 1 porcupine, 1 muskrat, 4 bats, and 1 fox this season. As of August 20th, donations from our supporters have allowed us to cover the costs of special wildlife formulas and vaccines. We are now asking for donations toward the $850 surgery for little Rocky, a raccoon who came to us missing her right hind foot.
Each year, Constance Creek Wildlife Refuge (CCWR) takes in about 100 wild mammals who need help preparing to survive in the wild. Many of these are animals orphaned due to human activity and cruelty.
Your donation will go directly toward purchasing the supplies and paying for the services we need to optimize the health of each animal we take in. The money will be used to purchase wildlife formulas, feeding supplies, veterinary care, medications, and vaccinations. Our team of dedicated volunteers will do our best to give each animal the best possible chance of thriving in the wild.
If you prefer, you can donate through the http://ccwr.ca
website or CCWRefuge facebook page.
Thank you for caring and for your generous support!
