This is Heidi and her two beautiful children. A year and a half ago, Heidi battled and won uterine cancer. She was off work for months and it devastated her financially. But, being the woman that she is, she fought cancer and got back on her feet again. These last couple of months however, she has found out that the cancer is back. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 Metastasis leiomyosarcoma, and it has now moved into her lungs. She has been told that she needs to be off of work for six months while she has radiation and chemotherapy. She went to fill her prescription for her anti nausea medication for the chemo and was told it wasn’t covered by her insurance and this prescription alone is two hundred dollars. Fighting cancer the first time ate up all of her savings, and now the simple comforts to help her get through this are not affordable for her. 

Heidi is my oldest friend, she is a mother, a daughter and a sister. She is deeply loved and cherished by all who know her. We ask at this time that you offer whatever support you can, even the smallest amount would help her get through this war she is battling.
