We represent The City College of New York and we are this year’s Stanford University Fellows. Our team: Khandker Ahamed, Nathaly Ardiles, Raneem Elsayed and Ariel Obando, will be working together diligently to foster innovation and entrepreneurship at our campus.
During the six week training, we learned to develop keen initiatives that will allow us to introduce the design process, critical thinking skills and an entrepreneurial mindset to our CCNY campus community. Simultaneously, these initiatives contribute to harness and reinforce our campus's resources. After our training, we will work together on innovative projects with the goal of making our campus better for the students, faculty, and staff.
We are required to conclude our training by attending a week-long meetup in San Francisco. This opportunity will allow us to collaborate with the 254 fellows worldwide. Our diverse campus is a melting pot of cultures and as fellows, we look to showcase and represent the drive and character that our campus community has to offer.
We need to raise ~$5,500 for our upcoming campus initiatives, lodging for the Stanford event, transportation, and other out-of-pocket expenses.
Here are the four initiatives we are planning:
- Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Implement Innovation
- Inspire Students
- Build a positive ecosystem
