Help save Simbas life

This is our baby Simba. He’s a 3 year old golden retriever who just wants to love and be best friends with everyone! Everyone knows he’s a sucker for butt scratches and sneak attacking everyone with kisses when you’re least expecting it and he of course thinks he is an 80 pound lap dog. He’s the sweetest soul ever and right now he’s really struggling. He’s currently in AVECCC ICU receiving intense treatment. Recently he stopped eating and then it turned into not wanting to drink or move or even lift his head up. We took him to the vet where they ran lots of tests and sent us home with some medication to try and help him eat and be more comfortable. Later that night he began crying in pain when he would try and rest and his nose started bleeding around 2am so we knew it was serious. He was rushed to the hospital where he received pain meds, IVs and they monitored him closely. He was sent home early in the morning the next day. That afternoon we got a call from our very concerned vet stating that his lab results don’t look good and we need to rush him to the hospital. After we got him to the hospital we were met by a team that rushed him inside and immediately took vitals, got an IV going and started their tests. We got a call a few hours later stating that his heart looked “funky” to the Dr. and it was going to need further testing. Simba is currently (6/26) on oxygen, receiving meds to stabilize his heart and is being tube fed food since it has been days since he has eaten. The Vets are concerned about his Kidney and platelet levels and how high his calcium level is as well. We also received results this morning that he is positive for valley fever. He is receiving treatment for that as well. As of right now they are keeping him stable and comfortable until he can get an echocardiogram on Monday to see just how bad his heart is. He’s currently in tachycardia but the vet believes they can keep him stable until his tests on Monday. As of now we have spent $5000 on his medical treatment, vet visits, tests and stay in the ICU. We will do anything for him and right now we are asking for help with covering further testing, medications, potential procedures, his ICU stay and whatever future medications and help he will need for his survival. We have been given a rough estimate by the billing department telling us how much more we will need to pay to continue to keep him alive and run more tests and do everything they can to help him. The amount needed is currently updated. We would just like to say thank you for taking the time to read this. We appreciate every word of encouragement, loving thought, prayer or donation that we can get. We will continue to post updates as we know more.
UPDATE 6/27: We just received a call from the vet stating that because they had to fight to keep his heart functioning correctly yesterday   it made an impact on how his Kidneys are functioning. Because of this He now has a severe kidney injury that he is currently receiving medications and IV for. Last night he developed pneumonia so he is also being treated for that. His platelet levels are still low which could be caused by all the inflammation but it has not lowered anymore which is good. Today he doesn't really feel like getting up which is to be expected. They are still planning to keep him again overnight and still expecting to do an echocardiogram on his heart tomorrow to get a better view of his heart to see what else needs to be done. Please continue to pray, share this everywhere you can and thank you so so much from the bottom of my families heart for donating and spreading the word. We're not done fighting yet!!
