Thursday, January 15, my mom Judith died suddenly in her sleep. She has left behind a loving family of myself and my 2 boys. We are trying to raise money for bills and to be able to find a smaller place that we can be approved for.

We support ourselves with my SSA disability and Chance's SSI for his autism. Matt has been unsuccessfully looking for work while waiting for his own SSI due to seizures, autism, and BPD. He has been unable to find somewhere to work. He is also unable to drive because of his seizures. Chance has been looking for work as well as getting some college classes taken care of. The Regional Center is an organization that helps autistic and other disabled kids and adults in the state of California.

We would like to be able to stay in the Bakersfield area if possible. The Regional Center is going to help Chance out with work and school. We're still waiting on intake for Matt. That takes up to a year, but if we let them know the situation, they might be able to help.

Due to us not having any type of notice from the landlord at this time (I've only been late a couple of times), they are unable to help at this time. We are hoping to use the funds for a smaller place and pay the bills left behind when my mother passed.
