Chris Savva - Life Changing Medical Condition
Donation protected
Our dear friend Chris Savva was first diagnosed with MS in 2008 and initially the condition was dormant so everyday life was unaffected. However in 2010 after another serious condition, his MS was triggered again and it has gradually become a more debilitating problem. He now has progressive MS and has had to make life changing decisions.
His wife Lesley has told us that the decision to step down from work was inevitable although not for Chris, the lockdown although bad, has helped make the final decision easier. Letting S&C go, well that is proving harder, S&C has and will always be a major part of his life.
Chris is on a three year trial at The National Neurology Hospital and the family need to make changes to their house with a new extension on the ground floor. This will create a bedroom and wet-room with wheelchair access all designed to make life easier for Chris now and the future.
A team from S&C will be running a total distance of 50K per person in the month of May to raise funds for Chris.
