On December 31, 2025, my future brother-in-law Dylan Landry was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident that changed his life in an instant. As a result of the accident, Dylan is now paralyzed from the chest down. He also suffered multiple broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken hand, and a severe spinal injury. His spine was severed, and he has already undergone surgery to repair his back.

In the coming days, Dylan will be released from the hospital and transferred from New Orleans to Houston, Texas, where he will begin intensive rehabilitation at TIRR Memorial Hermann. The cost of this medical transfer alone is $4,000, and it is only the beginning of a long and challenging journey.

Dylan will require ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, specialized equipment, and home modifications to help him regain as much independence and comfort as possible. His parents Mandy and Lambert Landry are by his side every step of the way, navigating overwhelming emotional and financial challenges as they support their son through this life-altering time.
