Cat's Cradle Giving Day
Tax deductible
Dear Cat’s Cradle Supporter,
On April 21st, Cat’s Cradle volunteers, staff, and donors will come together to hold our first Giving Day. This 24-hour event will focus specifically on supporting our rescue, foster, and adoption programs as we head into what promises to be a challenging kitten season.
We’re already getting calls for rescues of mamas with litters of kittens, as well as abandoned baby kittens. With your help on Giving Day, we can cover some of the significant costs for vetting and supplies that support our lifesaving work in kitten season.
In many of these situations, mamas and their babies may not survive without us. Cat's Cradle is committed to being there for them, and your tax-deductible donation on Giving Day is a great way to make sure we can.
We’ll also be announcing some special events and giveaways for Giving Day, so please watch for those messages!
Mark your calendars for April 21st. Our goal is to raise 228 gifts--spelling “CAT” on your keypad! We have made our goal the number of donors participating on Giving Day, instead of a dollar amount. But, if it helps you to think about what gift you will make that day, here are some examples of expenses that go along with kitten season:
· $15 covers one rabies vaccine
· $25 covers the cost of kitten milk replacement for one orphaned baby kitten
· $65 is the average cost for a spay/neuter surgery
· $250 covers the typical cost of medical care for one kitten from birth through adoption

I hope you will join fellow Cat's Cradle supporters on April 21st and make a special kitten season donation on that day. Together, we can continue to help give every precious life a chance.
