Clarence Center PTO Playground Project

Play helps children to develop new neural pathways, which leads to children being able to complete complex learning tasks, support cognitive growth, master gross motor skills, increase social interaction, and aide in problem solving skills.  All of which greatly benefits child development.  Play is just as, if not more important, than an academic education.  Our children deserve an amazing space to play to help them learn and grow!  Please join me in helping to replace the wooden play structure and old swings at Clarence Center Elementary, as well as purchasing four, new, free standing pieces of play equipment.

As you may know, the current wooden playground at the school is splintering, rusting, and often harbors bees.  The swings are not up to current safety code.  Our children need a better play space than this!

Playground equipment is expensive, and traditional fundraisers take a long time to raise enough money to purchase new equipment.  Through this campaign, 100% of your donation will be put toward purchasing and installing new playground equipment.  As an added bonus, the Clarence Schools Enrichment Fund (CSEF) has agreed to a dollar for dollar matching grant of up to $5,000.  That means if we raise $5,000 through this campaign, we will have earned $10,000!  Even a small donation makes a BIG difference!  Thank you in advance for your generous donation, no matter how big or small - if we all work together, we will have the new playground installed in no time!

**Clarence Center PTO Playground Project is independent from Clarence Center Elementary, Clarence Central School District and CSEF.
