Miss Liz at Capital City family support

Many of you know Capital City Club’s beloved employee Liz Hunter (or Miss Liz).
Liz has worked at Capital City for almost 30 years. Sadly, Liz and her family have fallen on difficult times.
A month ago Liz’s husband had emergency surgery on his stomach to stop internal bleeding. Liz had to take off work for 4 weeks to care for him. She currently is the only provider in her family. The time off work caused her to become behind on her bills.
Her husband is home from surgery and is on dialysis three times a week. Once he regains strength from his previous stomach surgery he needs to have heart surgery.
On top of this hardship, Liz found out at work Tuesday that her niece (her brothers daughter) and her great niece were shot in their apartment in Florida after gunfire erupting outside . The shots went through their apartment wall. Liz’s great niece, who is 8, had to get her leg amputated from the gun shot wound. Liz’s niece is in critical care. Liz and her brother are planning to go to Florida soon to help them.
Liz said after learning the news about her niece, “I’m not this strong and I don’t know how much more I can take. I still have my faith but this is SO hard.”
I hope we can help Liz find some relief during these difficult times. Through her work at the Seven Seas she has taken loving care of our girls over the years. We want to take care of Liz now.
