Dear Readers,

Baldwin Park Realty, Lake Lovers Club & Adaptive Surfing will be hosting a Happy Hour Fundraiser on Friday, May. 6th, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. to help bring the community together and show our support to our local Adaptive Surfing Professionals: C.C. Roberts & Shawn Whitaker.

Roberts and Whitaker, childhood friends and surf mates, were severely injured in separate car accidents that altered their path in life: becoming professional surfers. Whitaker, 16 at the time of the accident, lost his left limb and Roberts, 27 at the time, became paralyzed from the chest down. Both were able to find hope and strength in themselves to overcome what many said would be impossible. With Adaptive Surfing, Roberts & Whitaker have persevered and become excellent professional surfers who compete worldwide.

We are proud to represent these incredible men and are inspired by their journey. This fundraising event is to help raise funds for each to continue pursuing their dreams.

100% of the funds raised will be divided between C.C. Roberts & Shawn Whitaker.
