CCA grow and provide more opportunities for kids!

Hi, my name is Kristy King. Calabasas Cheer Academy, born out of the pandemic in 2021, was created to provide athletic opportunities for kids at a time whey there weren’t many. It started as 1 class of 4 kids learning gymnastics and cheerleading in a park. Now servicing over 65 kids, through partnering with a youth tackle football team, Calabasas Rams, to provide sideline cheerleaders and an after-school enrichment for Bay Laurel Elementary School.

As we continue to grow, I want to be able to provide more opportunities for the kids using CCA, including but not limited to, more after-school programs, youth competitive cheer program, safety equipment, more classes, and ultimately build our own practice/class space. The funds provided would help move CCA forward.

The funds would also help in hiring more qualified coaches, payroll, practice space rental fees, insurance, etc.

I have been coaching for 27 years. My passion is promoting healthy and active lifestyles for youth. We focus on building confidence, promoting creativity, creating a motivated and inspired future leaders
