Support Scott's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Writing this is difficult for me... but I don't have many options due to the complexity of the situation.
On April 25th, Scott, my dad, suffered a stroke on the left side of his brain, causing a blockage of blood flow. He had to have emergency thrombectomy surgery to remove the blockage. As a result, his right side of his body is weaker and his cognitive skills are very low, so he needs 24-hour care. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
He has been living with me and my boyfriend. However, my boyfriend had a medical issue back in March that he has been hospitalized for. We all contributed to just cover the rent, food, and bare essentials... however, with my boyfriend hospitalized and now my dad needing 24-hour care, I am stuck with the total financial burden and needing to care for two disabled men along with my daughter and no vehicle.
My car is no longer running; it blew a head gasket, which I also use for work, so the bills have fallen behind. I will have to register his truck in my name so I am able to get him to his doctor, therapy, and specialist appointments.
I don't like asking for help... however, I truly don't have many options. My hands are tied until I can get my footing under me again.
Any amount you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you aren't able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
Thank You,
