Help an OFW Mother Fight Stage 3 Cervical Cancer & Continue Her Treatment

Dear friends, kind hearts, and generous souls,

I am reaching out on behalf of someone very dear to us- Daryl Firch Asares from Bukidnon (a province in Mindanao). Daryl is also known as "Pingping", an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Turkey for three years, a loving mother, a devoted daughter, and a fighter.

At just 35 years old, she is courageously battling Stage 3 Cervical Cancer after being diagnosed in November 2024, just two months after the heartbreaking loss of her father in the Philippines. (walang pinipili ang cancer)

‼️Fighting Alone in a Foreign Land

Pingping has always been independent, working tirelessly in Turkey to support her son and family back home in the Philippines. But the pain, struggles, and challenges of battling cancer alone in a foreign land have been overwhelming. When she started experiencing severe symptoms like heavy bleeding, life became even harder—she had to stop working, losing her medical insurance. Now, she is fighting not only cancer but also the crushing financial burden of treatment—all alone, far from home.

Only Six Months to Live Without Treatment

Doctors have given her six months to live if she doesn’t continue treatment, but Pingping refuses to give up. She has already completed three chemotherapy sessions, and thankfully, the results are promising! While her condition has improved, she is still struggling physically and emotionally.

Unfortunately, she still has three more chemotherapy sessions, major surgery, and radiation therapy ahead. The road ahead will be even more challenging without OUR HELP. She confided in her native Cebuano, “Dili na gyud ko makapadayon”—"I can no longer continue."
