Dawn’s long road to recovery
Donation protected
Dawn and James live in Grand Forks, James a logging truck driver and Dawn runs her own candle/soap store. On June 10th Dawn was running personal errands and she was rear ended. Upon exiting her car and going to speak with the driver, the unthinkable happened and he drove off, driving overtop of Dawn. Dawn was airlifted to Kelowna General Hospital where she spent 5 days in ICU and had surgery on both her ankle’s and clavicle. Dawn has 24 broken bones in total in both her ankles, ribs, clavicle and pelvis. Dawn has a long road of recovery ahead and James will be frequently traveling from work to Kelowna to be there for Dawn. If you’re able to help, any help would be greatly appreciated!
