Tim Baldwin Funeral Expenses

Tim Baldwin was unlike any other person I've known. He was genuine, a bit cooky, but thats what we loved about him the most. He was a Navy veteran. He served our country and had so much pride in himself for that, as he should.

About fifteen years ago he started showing signs of sickness, coming from a disease called Asbestosis. This came from removing asbestos in ships when he was in the military but wouldnt show up until 20 years later.

He would in turn become 100% disabled through the VA and lose all the physical strength he had. This was very hard for him of course, as it would be for anyone, but this strong man had to give up almost all his independence very quickly. My mom likes to tell the story of him picking up a refrigerator on his back all by himself when they first got married because, well, he could. He played football, baseball, and basketball any chance he could get.

Although he lost the ability to do these things, he never lost his family. The love we have is powerful and strong. No matter what struggles we have, our love and connection to one another has always been the most important thing.

On Nov 27th at around 4:30am he let us know it was his time. He was finally comfortable and ready to pass on. We held his hand and told him how much we loved him. I have no doubt that as he was passing, he felt every ounce of love we could muster.

This is an incredibly difficult time for our family and the upcoming funeral expenses are heavily weighing on us. We have all had to take time off of work to spend these final moments with him, and would do it all over again, but some expenses cannot wait to be paid.

Please do not burden yourself to help, that is the last thing we want. Frankly, setting this up is not what we want to be doing, but even more so, we would never want someone to donate if it would put them in a bind.
