Kitten Emergency
Tax deductible
Volunteers who specialize in trap-neuter-return (TNR) have pulled approximately 130 kittens from various locations in South Sarasota County, Charlotte County and DeSoto County. These specific areas were struck particularly hard by Hurricane Ian last September and many unaltered pets were left behind causing a lot of outdoor breeding. The large number of kittens found has overwhelmed and depleted small rescue resources.
Feline Friends is sponsoring fundraising efforts for 60 of these kittens.
A minimum of $2,500 is needed to get these kittens medically ready for adoption. Please donate what you can and share this link with your cat-loving friends and ask if they can also help.
Animal welfare groups are still dealing with the aftermath of Ian’s destruction. With your help and community support, we will continue working in these hard-hit areas where animals need us the most right now.
Feline Friends is an all-volunteer nonprofit group. All money raised goes directly to animal care.
