Sport is at the heart of life in CBS The Green. Through Gaelic football, hurling, and many other activities, we foster teamwork, resilience, leadership, and pride. Our programmes not only encourage participation but also nurture talent, helping to shape the future sportsmen of Kerry and ensuring that our rich sporting heritage endures.

This year marks another remarkable chapter in our history. Our Senior Football team has reached the All-Ireland semi-final of the prestigious Hogan Cup Senior A Football Championship. At the same time, our U19 hurlers have powered their way into the All-Ireland semi-final of the Paddy Buggy Cup Senior B Championship, highlighting the strength and depth of hurling within the school. The success of both teams is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and determination of our players and coaches

Achievements at this level bring immense pride to our entire community, but they also come with significant costs. Travel, accommodation, training, equipment, and preparation all place financial demands on the school.
