Hi my name is Valerie and I am fundraising for the little yellow house in Thousand Oaks California, Snapdragonhealingcenter.com an annual Christmas tithe to serve our community. We opened our doors January 1, 2019 and we are rounding the end of our fourth year! Opened into the community with the only hope is to serve those who are affected by the borderline shootings and the Woolsey fires survivors and families which happened in one week in end of 2018; we now serve many including PTSD and trauma in reaction to the global panic the past few years. An artist and life coach/counselor I prayed and asked God what I could do and was given an opportunity and a space to help create a community to support our community. Since that day we opened artists and friends, therapist and counselors, and prayer chaplains and pastors got involved and we were able to serve for the last three years and 11 months our beloved hometown. I work two jobs to help keep the doors open committed only serving ~ and everything I earn goes right back into the I little yellow house expenses. and if people ask what they can do to help, we have a list and paper goods watering the plants! Once a year I have been setting up this fundraiser for anyone who wants to give back, pass on their tithes at Christmas time.
