CBHS EOC Incentive Trip

Creek Bridge High School is in Marion, SC. We are a district in a high needs area. 100% of our students are on free lunch. We have a fantastic group of kids that work hard and push themselves even in these tough situations. At the end of the year our students take the South Carolina End of Course Exams. In the past the students that scored an 85% or higher on these tests have been given an incentive trip to places like WonderWorks by Ripleys or to a Go-Kart park. It is an oppurtunity for students that worked hard to receive from positive reinforcement on that hard work. 

But this year the funding was not there. We want to take all of the students that score 85% or higher on this trip which in the past has been roughly 35 or more students. Locations we have discussed are WonderWorks in Myrtle Beach, Grand Prix Raceway in  Myrtle Beach, SkyWheel in Myrtle Beach or Carrowinds in North Carolina. We know it's important for our students to receive positive reinforcement and to expose them to so much of the world that many do not get a chance to see.
