Hi my name is Gill Spencer

On 17th July, 10 years ago, at only 26 years old a truly inspirational young man lost his courageous fight with cancer. Ben Murphy was, along with his twin Sam, my daughter Sophie's brother in everything but name. In his memory and honour I am going to fling myself - strapped to some poor soul from an aeroplane at 15 000 feet on Monday 5th August. I did attempt to do this a couple of years ago but circumstances prevented this so.....I'm older but certainly no wiser therefore am going to have another go.

So, for those old enough to remember, in the words of the legend that is Billy Connelly I hope to look "wind swept and interesting" but more likely to resemble Worzel Gummage!
