UPDATE:
I have been in communication with my wife and her home has been condemned and is not fit to be rebuilt. The main picture shows the lack of roof left on her house. She has lost everything. But God is keeping her strong and moving forward. There is little food and fresh water there and the worst part is there is no way to send help as of yet to her community as she lives in the mountains above Montego Bay. When I am able to, I will get her the funds I have for her right now. Banking systems are still down, gasoline for cars is hard to come by, taxis fares are up over 200% which is their main source of transportation there and there is always the threat of water-borne illness in the aftermath of these calamities. Please continue to pray for those affected and we really appreciate all of you who have been supportive in this process. God bless you all.
My name is Chuck Stilwell and I live in the Pacific Northwest. I am reaching out on behalf of my wife in Montego Bay, Jamaica, who has lost her house to Hurricane Melissa. Her roof was blown off, and the house was severely damaged. There are no pictures of her property damage as I have yet to be able to communicate with her. I will add pictures of her property here when I get some. Praise God that I have heard from her daughter that she is alive, but she is homeless as many in Jamaica are right now.
We are asking for help so that she may be able to restore her house there and be able to purchase bottled water and food, which gets very expensive in the aftermath of these natural disasters. Due to her not choosing to take vaccinations, she is not able to leave the island to come here. We are not people of means; anything helps right now. Thank you for your consideration. Prayers are welcome too. Blessings!
