Shortly after turning 42, my mother in law, Shannen Heussner, was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. She found a lump the day of her birthday and set up a doctors appointment. After many tests, it has been confirmed to be cancer. She is undergoing surgery tomorrow 7-30-14 to have a port put in. She then will begin chemotherapy. 8 doses over a 4 month span. After that, she will undergo surgery to remove the tumor, or the left breast, or possibly both. Afterwards, there will be a 7 week radiation, 5 days a week. We are coming together as a family to raise money because unfortunately she does not have medical insurance. We've been denied left and right with trying everything for help. This is a last resort.
