Support FPC'S Fight Against Hunger with CANstruction

Ford, Powell & Carson, an award-winning architecture, planning, and preservation firm based in San Antonio, is proud to participate in the 2025 CANstruction® San Antonio event - an international design/build competition that raises awareness about hunger while celebrating the creative talents of the design and construction community.

With over 85 years of experience, FPC is known for shaping some of Texas’s most iconic civic, cultural, and historic spaces. Our multidisciplinary team of architects, interior designers, and planners are coming together to create a large-scale sculpture entirely from canned goods, which will be on display at North Star Mall September 9th-20th.

After the event, every can used in our sculpture will be donated to the San Antonio Food Bank, helping to provide meals to families across its 16-county service area. Since its inception, CANstruction San Antonio has contributed over 470,000 pounds of food - and FPC is honored to help grow that impact.

Your donation will go directly toward purchasing the canned goods that will bring our sculpture to life and, most importantly, stock the shelves of our community food bank.
