Emma fell in love with her horse, Buddy, the very first time they met. Determined to ride, she agreed with her mom and dad that she would help earn money to care for a horse and build a fence. True to her word, Emma rolled up her sleeves—doing yard work, cleaning stalls, and even making bracelets and earrings—to help provide Buddy with food and care.

Her hard work paid off. Emma and Buddy became an incredible team, training and competing together in barrel and pole racing. They grew as partners and accomplished so much side by side.

Buddy has passed away suddenly. Emma is heartbroken, but her dream of riding and racing remains strong. While no horse could ever replace Buddy, a new partner will help her keep moving forward in the arena and carry on the dream she worked so hard to build.
