Help Save Stanley

Hi friends, family, neighbors, and all Stanley fans and dog lovers… This is Stanley. He’s a timber wolf/Guinea pig mix (aka a terrier mix of some sort) of about 14 years, and who is a bright, charming, and delightful little friend. He’s brought lots of love and light to my later years here on earth and life won’t be the same without my best friend and companion by my side. He has been diagnosed with having a huge bladder stone that is about 1 inch in diameter, with lots of crystals, that is causing him a lot of pain and discomfort. The only options I have are either to put him to sleep or to have surgery to remove it. I can’t bare not to try to save my little friends life… he still has all of his marbles, is loving, happy, and playful. I believe he could have a few more happy and comfortable years on the earth if he could have this surgery. The surgery is very expensive and I am a disabled and not able to work a job after breaking my back. And Covid hasn’t made it any easier. Stanley brings smiles onto faces of everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - he meets, and you can tell that he KNOWS he's everyone’s friend (including dogs and cats) and so happy to be on this earth to explore and meet people. He brings sunshine, love and joy into my life daily and, honestly, everyone we’ve ever met loves this little guy, and remembers his name - if not mine.. and that says a lot about him. If you’d care to help me keep Stanley with me on this Earth, it would mean so much to me (and Stanley, I’m sure!), and change the tears I have on my face from hopeless despair into joy and love.
