Support for the Franklin family

Hi, My name is Peter and I am writing to help raise money for the family of my friend and coworker Melodie Franklin. Melodie recently passed away in Unalaska, Alaska; leaving behind her daughter Alia, her dog Peanut, family in Louisiana, and many friends. Melodie had a warm and friendly personality that was infectious to those around her.

It is my goal to raise $10,000.00 to help Melodie's family with her funeral arrangements. It is very expensive for the family to fly Melodie back to New Orleans, Louisiana. With that in mind, it would be a great gesture for the community and those who knew Melodie best to show support and help ensure that she is given a proper funeral without it causing financial hardship for her family.
