My name is Cayla and friday I found a tiny kitten after spent over 3 hours trying to catch her. While searching, I found her momma who had passed away, and I knew I had to help her. She had a prolapse, so I rushed her to the emergency vet and stayed there until 1:30am while they treated her.

This morning she suddenly started declining, became very lethargic, and we rushed her back to the ER vet. The doctor told us she had a neurological issue and there was nothing more they could do, so we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her down.

I hate asking for help, but the emergency vet bills were very expensive and had to be put on CareCredit. I became so attached to her in just 24 hours, and I’m devastated. I was excited for her to be an addition to my family. Thank you to everyone who has checked in and supported me through this.
