Cayla's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Cayla is one of the most loyal, passionate and hard-working people I’ve ever met. She would do anything at the drop of a dime for her friends, coworkers, and regulars... you name it.
Friday night, around 1130pm, she was struck by a car (while on foot), that carried her at least 30 feet before she fell off and landed in the gutter. The vehicle fled the scene, and Cayla was left in the street until a Good Samaritan called 911 for her. She is now in the hospital with multiple injuries, including a fractured pelvis and possible broken knee.
This accident has caused her not only physical pain, but also the stress of rising medical bills - especially with all future surgeries, physical therapy and recovery time she will need. Being the workaholic she is, she is currently more worried about missing her shifts than her pain. Because of the severity of her injuries, she is unlikely to return to work for months.
We are asking all of our service industry family to come together and help relieve some of her worries so she can focus on recovering. So please, any amount would be gratefully appreciated to get our little spitfire, Cayla, back on her feet and back behind the bar, where she belongs!
