As many of you already know, my grandson Cayden, was in a snowboarding accident on March 19th which resulted in him breaking/shattering multiple vertebrates in his neck. It is a miracle that he survived and that he wasn’t instantly paralyzed.

Cayden underwent emergency surgery where the neurosurgeon team performed a C6 corpectomy and a frontal spinal fusion from C5-C7. Unfortunately at his six week post operative appointment the neurosurgeon told them that another surgery needed to be done to stabilize the originally unaffected vertebra’s above the original surgery to prevent future paralysis. This Wednesday 5/11, Cayden will have another spinal fusion done, this time from the back of his neck from C4-T1.

So many of our dear friends have asked if there is a way they can help defray the considerable costs associated with Cayden’s medical care following his accident. And now, as a second surgery has been deemed necessary, I wanted to set up this Go Fund Me account to assist and bless them, and also to keep people following their journey updated. I want to stress that the thing they most desire from anyone is your continued prayers which sustain and touch them all.
