CAY Morristown Eruv

Congregation Ahavath Yisrael needs your help to fund the Morristown Eruv! The project will cost $80,000, including two years of routine maintenance. A generous donor has pledged to match up to $40,000! This means we need to raise $40,000, and every dollar we raise will be doubled!

The Eruv will be supervised by the Rav Hamachshir of the Monsey Eruv.

Every penny you donate contributes to the high quality of kashrus of the Eruv and its maintenance. Raising this entire sum will ensure our ability to afford an expert to check the Eruv every week for the next two years (at which point we will ask for moderate continued contributions toward Eruv maintenance). Everything we raise beyond $40,000 will help our maintenance be even more mehudar (halachically meticulous).

This Eruv will enhance the Oneg Shabbos of so many families, especially new mothers, young children, and individuals with health situations that require carrying and who would not carry without an Eruv. It will also increase the level of Shabbos observance in the larger Morristown Jewish community. And it will allow our observant community to continue to grow and expand, attracting young families who will become teachers in our Jewish schools, leaders in our shuls, and lamplighters in the Morristown community at large.
