On July 28th, 2022, Southeastern Kentucky was decimated by a series of flash floods that ripped thru several counties. Letcher county and it's citizens suffered immeasurable loss. The citizens of Jenkins and Mcroberts have lost homes, possessions, vehicles, and pets; some have lost loved ones. There are no essential utilities such as power and water on top of the loss of their homes. No temporary housing is available, and the Federal government assistance hasn't started yet. They are forecasting more rain, and our cleanup hasn't begun. We have been blessed with donations of supplies and volunteers, but we haven't been able to put a dent in our neighbor's immediate needs. Our goal is to be able to provide gift cards to households that will allow them to purchase what they need as they need it. We are strong! We will rebuild! Any donations are appreciated and will go directley to families affected by this tragedy.
