Why? :

This fundraiser is to support the Kim's family cause for funeral and religious services for Cau Kim.

Course of Events:

Tuesday evening, May 2nd, my father became unconscious, fell out of his powerchair and landed hard on his head.  He broke his neck, fractured his spine and a part of his skull in the process.  While being rushed to the hospital, we were informed that he was in a deep coma. On Thursday, May 4th, we learned that our father's injuries were further worse than we expected.  The doctor had described his injury as an  "Internal decapitation" in which ligiments in his neck were severed.  With these injuries, he was also dependant on life support in order to breathe.  We as a family understood that my father did not wish to live this way, so on Sunday May 7th, we made the difficult decision to take him off life support and allow him to pass on. 

We find peace and comfort in the fact that our dad had his accident doing something he loved which was fishing. Anyone knows that this man loved kids and is survived by his wife, Pen Chum, four sons, Vechat, Navy, Jackson, Rambo, and his two grandsons, Ari & Kaleb.
