For my birthday this year, I'm inviting you to a party....in 2027. Let me explain:

I have just started my second term of vet tech school as a full-time student. Vet Techs are basically non-human nurses. I'm getting to learn all the things. This new journey has put me back on a path to help our environment and all creatures great & small. I am loving every minute of it, and it makes my heart happy.

That said, scholarships aren't easy to come by when you graduated high school a few years ago. Understandably.

However, school fees, books, equipment, less hours for paid work, etc. adds up quickly.

So I had a thought. What if my community would be interested in sponsoring me with any size scholarship? And each donor would be invited to a graduation/celebration party in May 2027 (date tbd). You invest in me, and then I will thank you with drinks, snacks, and a report on what I've learned. I'm thinking old school science fair board displays with helpful info and interesting facts from 18 months of schooling. :-)
