Cats From Roselands Colony

I have been helping a colony in Roselands for over a year now. I rescued 10 from there and have them at home . They are desexed and vaccinated and have all had cat flu which I have treated. Another lady has 6 at

home which all had cat flu too. The colony was on a deceased estate with 2 metre high grass and shrubs. The house and land was covered in filth. I said that after I picked up 10 I would not pick up anymore but I could not leave

the last 10 there. I have asked

for help many times this year to be told reach out to recues. I have and have found it hard to find a rescue to take any. They are all full. Last week we received last minute notice that demolition would start on the property in the next few days. I asked for urgent help and found a rescue that would

take 1. He is now safe bit has not had the vet treatment he needs because these kind rescues really want to help but they need help with vet costs. It should not be up to them only. I was aware of a female cat that had kittens on the property the week before so I now have her and her 2 kittens that I was able to save. They will need vaccination as soon as possible. As I was catching mum cat I caught another cat from the property. I could not bring the cat inside so I left her on the verandah. She cried and banged on the trap the whole night. At 4 am I couldn't sleep still because I was upset for the cat and worried about where so would go. I contacted a rescue that I knew was full. I told her what the cat was doing and she said first thing in the morning drop her to the vet for boarding desexing, vaccination etc. The cat is still boarding as we have no where for her to go and we now have a vet bill. This is where we need the help of the community. We can not continue to help these poor homeless, pregnant,

sick cats without your help. I have since picked up another 2 and have more to hopefully pick up this week. Can we all please help.
