Catniss' Recent Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Catniss is a 5-year-old cat who I adopted when I was a student and she was a kitten. She's the sweetest cat I've ever had, except for her sister, Michonne. I adopted them both at the same time and they've never been apart.
Recently I moved to a new city for a job and the stress must have been too much for Catniss. She stopped eating entirely, and little did I know cats can develop a potentially fatal disease called hepatic lipidosis if they don't eat for more than two days. I took her to the vet within the week, but her liver had produced so many toxins from processing all her extra fat that it was slowly poisoning her.
In the last month, she's been hospitalized at my vet twice.  It's about $400 a day to hospitalize her, and she stayed there for 7 days in total. My vet is confident we can save her, as long as she starts eating on her own. She did eat strongly for two days after the first hospitalization, but then stopped again and got even more sick.
She is on appetite stimulants, anti-nausea medication, medicine that encourages her gall bladder to flush out the toxins and liver supplements. I was syringe feeding her with specialty liquid food every four hours, but wasn't able to get enough food in her to get her to recover. Meanwhile, the vet bills have been mounting and it is quickly becoming financially unmanageable.
As a last ditch effort to save Catniss' life, I've decided to insert an esophageal feeding tube that lets me get her the adequate nutrition she needs to recover. The plan is to keep it in until she starts eating on her own.
My vet bills are currently at about $3,000. I don't expect them to increase too much more now that the feeding tube is in place, but any donations would help me pay down the debt I've accrued caring for her through this illness over the last month and help me to afford any additional care she may need.
Any donation amount is appreciated, and please only donate if you are able to. I wouldn't want anyone to be in a financial hardship because of donating to help with her medical care.
I'm not ready to let Catniss go because she has so much life left to live. If her medical care can give her even a few more years with me and her sister, we'll both be so happy.
