Our dear friend and coworker, Catie, was struck by a car in the crosswalk as she was heading to the picket line on Wednesday. Fortunately, bystanders were able to act quickly providing support and getting her the care she needed. Catie sustained minor injuries to her leg and face, however, required emergency medical and dental services. I understand this is a trying time financially for us all right now, but especially for Catie, as she now has to navigate the next few weeks financially all while being out of work. Many of you have reached out to me personally with questions of how you could help Catie during this difficult time. I have set up a GoFundMe in hopes of providing some financial relief for Catie.
