Cathy is tough. Since her diagnosis, she has remained focused and positive. She has no time for self-pity. She is simply going to do what she has to do to survive. But, we want her to know that she doesn’t have to do it alone.
Cathy has owned and operated her own childcare business for the past 27 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development and has opened her home to provide a safe, nurturing environment for so many children over the years. She remembers every child she has ever cared for and continues to support and love them as they grow – attending soccer games, basketball games, plays, musicals, etc. Following her diagnosis, Cathy’s primary concern was finding substitute care for all her children. Caring for others is in her nature. This is our chance to return the favor.
Cancer treatment is expensive. Cathy can expect to have at least 5 different medical appointments each week. We want her to have the best care and to be able to focus on healing, not finances. However, being self-employed and unable to work has meant increased financial strain for our family. We hate to see Cathy stress over money when she should be putting all her energy into healing. We have created a Go Fund Me campaign in the hopes of lessening the burden of Cathy’s growing medical expenses. We would be so grateful for any contribution you can make, no matter how small.
