LIFESPAN INTEGRATION (LI) TRAUMA TRAININGS IN AFRICA
It is estimated that 25 -30% of Africans meet criteria for PTSD. LI Trainer Cathy Thorpe and LI Therapist Robin Vendelin (plus husband John) are donating their time to offer 4 LI trauma trainings to counselors, social workers and community development workers in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda in August 2017.
We are seeking to raise $6,000 each to cover the costs of airfare, lodging, supplies and trainings. These trainings will equip African leaders to use the powerful intervention of Lifespan Integration to heal trauma in their countries.
2014 in Uganda
Please help us sponsor this opportunity to equip healers with a remarkable intervention. Robin has used LI with students in these countries, after which they were able to focus and succeed in school. Some of these students are graduating with counseling degrees, and through these trainings will pass along the gift.
We hope to purchase airline tickets soon. Thank you for making it possible to do our part in expanding the impact of Lifespan Integration.
