Hello, my name is Serena Horvath. After talking with my mother-in-law, Kim Gallagher, about how we can best support our dear friends Jeff and Cathy, I felt moved to create this page. We are reaching out to ask for prayers, encouragement, and support as Cathy bravely battles leukemia. Any contribution—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—will mean so much to Cathy, Jeff, and their family during this difficult time.

Their Story:

Our dear friends Jeff and his wife Cathy are facing a sudden and heartbreaking challenge that was founded on Labor Day weekend Cathy has been diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing aggressive chemo. Once that is completed, it is imperative that she will need a bone marrow transplant. We are rooting for our strong friend Cathy to beat this with all of us in her corner!

This life-saving treatment means countless trips to the hospital, long days in care, and overwhelming medical expenses. On top of this, Jeff continues to shoulder the responsibilities of daily life—from earning income, to caring for their family, and making the difficult daily travel to and from the hospital.

The emotional and financial toll is immense, but together we can help ease the burden.
