With a heavy heart, on behalf of Cathy Araiza's family and friends, I ask for your help. On March 7, 2018, my friend and colleague Cathy passed away from breast cancer.  To say she "lost her battle with cancer" is a misnomer.  This was not a fight that could be "won." Cathy, in life and in death, was and is a hero and inspiration.  Through every cancer recurrence, Cathy pushed herself past her limit.  She put her brave and cheerful face on and went to work each day. She always had a smile on her face even though we could all see, at many times, that she was smiling through pain and fatigue.  I, as well as all others whose lives she touched, will miss her positive attitude and gentle soul. She never spoke negatively of anyone. She always saw the good in people and helped those around her whenever she could. She was one of those people who had such a pure heart and put everyone else's needs before her own...a rarity in today’s world, especially when she wore so many hats. Cathy was not simply a beloved colleague at Southern California Edison Company. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, devoted Christian, and friend.  With this memorial fund, we want to ease the financial burdens on Cathy's family that come with the sudden loss of a loved one. Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.  On behalf of Cathy's family and friends, thank you all for your continued love and support.
