Cathy “Rock” Vazquez Memorial Fund

On Friday August 21st Cathy was tragically killed in a car accident. Cathy was a para in my classroom, a Mother, a Grandmother and one hell of a person. 

Cathy leaves behind her parents, children and her grandchildren who were her entire world.

Cathy would do anything and everything she could for others, especially her family and her students. Cathy was loved by all of her students and while there will be a large void in the lives of her family, Saddlebrook Elementary School in Omaha will have a little less pep with her being gone. Her absence will be felt for a long long time by staff and students. 

Cathy had a unique way of working with her students and calming them down when they were upset. She brought a smile that could light up the room. She worked hard and loved her job so very much! 

The money raised will go towards funeral expenses and helping to support her children and young grandchildren through this difficult time.
