Cathy and Mike Murphy moved to Donnelly, ID from San Diego, CA in 2005. They have made many friends and have greatly impacted the community with their kindness and generosity. They both contribute to many non-profit organizations in Valley County such as; McPaws Regional Animal Center, Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary and Donnelly Fire Department.  Mike and Cathy just celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on January 27th, 2017.

Sadly, Cathy had an aneurism on February 3, 2017 and was taken to St. Luke's, Boise for medical care. She was in the ICU for a week when the doctors were able to determine the amount of damage that was done to her brain from the aneurism. She had suffered so much damage she was never going to be able to recover and it was at that time they decided to withdraw care. Cathy passed away on February 11, 2017.

As you know, Mike has many challenges ahead of him.  Some of the challenges he will face will be learning how to adjust without his best friend and wife of 31 years.
