I know we all have a lot going on right now with Covid, the upcoming election and our own personal problems .... but I would like to share an emotional backstory about the very special person I have set up this Go-Fund-Me account for. This friend is very humble, private, loving and a “giver”...  She would never ask for help . 

My dear friend, Cathy Maxwell, lives near me in Sioux Falls. I've been blessed to know her and her beautiful family over the years because several of our children were the same age and went to school together .

Cathy’s husband, Frank Maxwell unexpectedly passed away during his sleep just a few short years ago, leaving Cathy and their five wonderful children without any warning (Frank Jr, Haley, Sam, Kelly & Nick). The family photo below was taken the day before Frank passed away . 


Cathy Maxwell is currently battling a critical second round of colon cancer, which has  unfortunately spread to her liver . To help offset her numerous medical expenses, including an upcoming visit to the Mayo Clinic, I have set up a Go-Fund-Me account to assist Cathy and the Maxwell family.
