天有不测风云，2020年6月26日在科东部一场造成七死一伤的大车祸，带走了一位经常参加志愿者活动的好朋友麦月华和她的丈夫和小女儿。和Cathy是在三年前流浪者之家的活动上认识的，当时开朗乐天的她，带着可爱的女儿一起来参加活动，一下子就和大家打成了一片，从素不相识成为了朋友，在这几年里更成为了志同道合的好友，不单单在流浪者之家的活动上常常看到她和女儿的身影，月华对老人家们特别的贴心，在长青会和复活节的老人活动上也从不缺席，月华很会热场，有她参加的活动不会冷场，总是热热闹闹的。月华全家都是虔诚的基督徒，亲戚都在东岸，还有一个22岁的儿子。照片回忆依旧但斯人已逝，目前朋友们都在希望能够联络到她的儿子和东岸的家人，看看有什么需要帮助，让大家能够在这个艰难的时候尽一份心，出一份力，让月华和家人可以好走。募款筹得的所有经费都会直接转到月华家人的账户，以做治丧和安排后事的用途。
The accident in Cheyenne County Friday afternoon took away my good friend Cathy, her husband Rick and her daughter Myoli. The first time I met Cathy was 3 years ago at the Denver Rescue Mission volunteering events. She called to check whether she can bring her young daughter to volunteer. During these years, through the countless community events we volunteered together, we got to know each other more, I was amazed by her grace and generosity toward the community. No matter whether it is the homeless or seniors, Cathy and her family always were the ones we could count on to offer assistance. When we prepared lunch for the homeless, she was there, need people to take seniors to events, she was there, helped seniors to at the Easter charity event, she was there, and countless other occasions. Her love and warmth was infectious and radiated to everyone she encountered with. Cathy was a dedicated Christian and introduce many brothers and sisters to embrace of the lovely Father. Cathy, Rick and Myoli's passing was a shock to everyone who knows them and they will be remembered forever. The donation will be directly deposited to the account of the Zhong Family for funeral and other costs.
